6. Favorite Restaurants
Yiannis Greek Restaurant
Located on the main drag in Tarpon Springs, this restaurant offers lots of great Greek food. We loved their flaming cheese, Chicken Souvlaki, Greek Pork Gyro & Sausage and tzatziki sauce! OPA!
Whiskey Joes Bar and Grill
One of the things we looked for in the St. Petersburg area was a great beach bar. We found a few we liked, but one that stood out was Whiskey Joes, located on the Tampa side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway.
This fun bar and grill sits right on Tampa Bay and has great views of the water and the city of Tampa. And they have awesome Spiced Mojitos!
Spinners Restaurant- Grand Plaza Hotel
This higher end restaurant sits on top of the Grand Plaza Hotel along St. Pete Beach and slowly revolves while you enjoy your meal. You get a 360 degree view of the beaches, local area and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
The food itself is good- if on the pricier side, but definitely worth the trip.
Pipos Cuban Cafe- St. Petersburg
Love Cuban food? Pipos is a great place to enjoy authentic Cuban cuisine. Located at the entranceway to the St. Pete/Madeira Beach KOA, it was not only a great place to eat, but incredibly convenient! We loved their Cuban sandwiches, fried plantains and roasted chicken.
