There are thousands of campgrounds out there ranging from the bare minimum to the equivalent of first class with a side of champaign on the rocks. We have found that when trying to decide where to stay, it is sometimes difficult to judge by the photos you find on the campground’s website. (If they even have one).
Of course, they are going to show you photos of their only level lot, folks sitting around a campfire, and any pretty view they might have. That’s marketing. And you really can’t blame them.
We wanted to give you a bit of our opinion on each place we stay.
Our ratings are based on what is important to us. We love pretty views, we love a little space, we have dogs. I have three websites, so WIFI is of huge importance to me where some folks really wouldn’t care.
We will be as honest as we can and hope to help anyone else who is looking for a great place to park their camper.
